static html packages
"Static" html websites are perfect for clients who do not intend to maintain their own websites and for those who do not need interactive features such as bulletin boards. Search engines love static html pages. Sometimes less really is more.
All static html packages include valid xhtml and css coding. Each page may incorporate up to 3 of your own original images (You may provide images in either electronic or print format. Image optimization for web use is included). You supply all text in electronic format.
Not Included: Domain Name Registration, Web Hosting, Server Configuration, Copy Writing, Corporate Identity/Logo Creation, Dynamic Content, Website Maintenance.

cms packages
A "Content Management System" allows you to maintain your own website using only your web browser. Most Content Management Systems do not require any knowledge of html in order to add content. If you know how to use a word processing interface such as Microsoft Word then you will be able to add your own news items, calendar events, store specials, or website pages using a CMS.
All CMS packages include program installation and configuration. There are many free Content Management Systems to choose from including Drupal, PostNuke, Mambo, Xoops, and MKPortal. Software licensing is not included in the package prices listed below, but almost all free CMS software comes with a perpetual license which allows you to use the software forever. I will help you find the CMS that best suits your individual needs. Of course there are many excellent commercial (not free) Content Management Systems available which I can install for you if you want to purchase a license.

A Note About Maintenance: Any program installed on a server connected to the internet will require periodic software upgrades and/or patches. Software Upgrades are usually only necessary when the upgrade provides new features that you need. Over time the software may also need to be upgraded in order to remain compatible with your webhost's server software. Software Patches fix bugs or repair vulnerabilities that make your website open to possible hacking attempts. It is important to apply Security Patches as soon as they are released by the software developer.
