The <h1> tag
The heading tag is usually used for headings and titles. Heading sizes run from <h1> (largest) to <h6> (smallest). You can align headers left, center, right, or justify although the alignment attribute is being replaced by stylesheet formatting.
If you type this:
<h1>This is heading 1</h1>
<h3>This is heading 2</h3>
<h3>This is heading 3</h3>
<h4>This is heading 4</h4>
<h5>This is heading 5</h5>
<h6>This is heading 6</h6>
you get this:
This is heading 1
This is heading 2
This is heading 3
This is heading 4
This is heading 5
This is heading 6
Attributes for the <h1> tag
- align: The "align" attribute will align the text in your heading horizontally on the page. Set alignment left, right, center, or justify.

This is an example of an auction template using only the <h3>, <h4> and <p> tags. Now the different sections are becoming more defined.
My Widget
Item Description:
You ARE bidding on my very lame widget. We both know that you don't need this widget but, if there is anything to this power of suggestion I keep hearing so much about then you will really want this widget anyway. Widget is in mint condition with a few cracks in the case. Mint widget is in non-working order. This widget is from my personal collection which, although it doesn't actually mean anything, will probably give you the impression that I actually took care of the dang thing. I'm glad to get rid of this piece of junk. Please email me if you want me to end this auction early and sell it to you "off-eBay". After I get your money I can re-list it and sell it again knowing that eBay will just tell you that you screwed up and they can't help you. I will include, as a free gift, another mint condition broken widget. This widget is a already a rip-off at my starting price but it is possibly a federal crime to sell it at my "Buy It Now" Price. I accept Wire Transfers to my Caribbean bank account and cash in small unmarked US bills.
Shipping:
$32.00. (Shipping weight: 12oz.) All my widgets are shipped via USPS Lowest-Class Parcel Post. Widgets are securely packaged in recycled pizza boxes and padded with newspapers that I get out of the neighbors' recycle bins. Please do not ask me to combine shipping on multiple widgets. My time is very valuable and I resent wasting it packing and shipping your widget in the first place so you're lucky that I am willing to ship it to you at all. Also masking tape is not free and I should be reimbursed for all the days I have to wake up early to dip into the neighbors' recycling bins before they wake up. Please allow 3 weeks for me to actually ship and 6 weeks for transit.
