- Wizard Mithrandir is always helpful on the ebay boards. His html example page is no exception. He also offers an html course for a very nominal price.

- Mystydog's "me" page is one of the nicest I've seen. Many useful html tips and a great list of ebay related links. Free .gif links too.

- Special eBay html tags. Use these tags along with standard HTML tags to customise your ebay pages.
html/photo practice boards
- Ranchoweb's html practice board is great for experimenting on your auction templates or posting html in order to get help on the boards. Type in your html and post the URL on the board so people can see your work to give you help or to admire your html skill.
- Indian Mt's html practice board. Indian Mt's "me" page is another good place to test out your html experiments.
- Auction Health's temporary photo storage. If you need to share a photo with people on the boards but do not have an image host use this free service to temporarily host your image. Post the URL to the board and people can see your photo for a few days.

- How to take good photos. Tanker Jim's page is a must see. If you want to take good quality auction photos without buying a bunch of expensive equipment look here.
free image editing software
- IrfanView. "IrfanView is a very fast, small, compact and innovative FREEWARE (for non-commercial use) graphic viewer for Windows 9x/ME/NT/2000/XP." (from irfanview.com)
- The GIMP. "The GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed piece of software suitable for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring." (from gimp.org)
- GIFWorks. GIFWorks has a free online gif editor. "Create your own special effects with any GIF -- even animated ones! Resize it, colorize it, optimize it, and jazzercise it -- then save it and take it with you." (from GIFWorks website)

- Bob's Tips blocked server's list. Bob's list of servers that do not allow remote linking. This means that they cannot be used for ebay.

- ebay live help. This is one of those links to keep in your favorites. I recommend saving helpful ebay links as a html or text document on your computer for future reference. It's a lot easier than trying to find them through ebay's help pages.
