posting photos and links

To post images on the discussion boards (or anywhere else) use this html syntax:
<img src="http://www.your_site.com/your_image.jpg">
Example - This is the html I used to post the image above:
<img src="http://www.visiblesoul.com/banners/affiliates/visiblesoul_net468x60.jpg" width="468" height="60">
(Note: Your image must first be hosted on a web server for this to work. See my html & photo links page for free and pay image hosts.)
Also see lesley_feeney's excellent tutorial which explains the whole process from start to finish.
To post a link use:
<a href="http://www.your_site.com/your_page.html">text</a>
Example - This is the html I used to post lesley_feeney's tutorial link above:

eBay Group Albums & Firewalls
I've found the source of the problem that some firewall users are having trying to view the eBay Group Photo Albums. Your firewall must not block referrer info. I have posted step-by-step instructions for tweaking Norton Internet Security 2003 in the eBay tutorials section of this website. Its really pretty simple and, in my case, it allows me to see some wonderful beadwork photos and still have that warm and cozy feeling of sitting behind my firewall.
